It was my first ever time to get to sing in a recording studio and I was thrilled. James, my sound engineer was both efficient yet patient with me. He had quick ideas how to improve our recording without any detriment to the heart and spirit of the song. Working from a rough Demo track we were able to make quality recordings for Demo and release. I loved it and I will be back to record more quality music.

It usually takes around 2 hours for me to do a song but with Topboy, we knocked out 4 songs in 4 hours. He works very efficiently while ensuring great quality which is extremely rare. He also gave various pointers regarding my delivery that also improved the quality of the songs we did. I would highly recommend booking a session with him!

My first time paying for a session at MIX Studios I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived, my session engineer Chris McMasters gave me a warm welcome at the door and led me to the studio we'd be working in, the studio was clean and vibrant and made me feel at home! The studio session moved along seamlessly with no hiccups. My engineer was so amazing, and the mix was spot on. I paid for an elite engineer and it was worth every penny. I plan on recording my whole album here.

I've booked with union probably around 5 times and I've always been happy with the results of each session ♠♠♠ The new location is ♠♠♠ I brought my own pro tools file on my usb and we were able to get to work and get a finished product without a problem. Alan was our engineer he knows his stuff and even gives creative input which I personally love from an engineer.

It's located in an area that has stores, food, and the parking is gated which makes me feel safe. The Administration is always accommodating. Not to mention the Super Producer. Mr. JAMES I have never had a better engineer. His qualities that I have observed are: he is quick, his mixes are accurate, and when I request an edit or to he is Johnny on the spot. Thanx again. I'm from New Jersey, traveling with a friend. Coincidentally, we make music and our friend we came to visit mentioned that we should hit a Studio, this one being the diamond in the rough found through a google search ! Didn't know what to expect but I can honestly say that Lalo has so much talent with engineering, he helped me tweak my song into such a vibe and I love how he tells you when something doesn't sound good so that you can make it as perfect as possible, I was so nervous getting back into music but working with lalo took away the nervousness and motivated me even further to go farther, the project we worked on sounds like a masterpiece thanks to his skills!

10/10 I Highly Recommend. Music Engineer: I've been working with Connor for over a year and he is very knowledgeable, professional, and has great time management skills. One thing, I really enjoy about working with Connor is his knowledge of music theory.

Studio & Sound Quality: The studio is really nice, comfortable, and is equipped with everything an artist & engineer needs. I really enjoy the LED lights they have in the studio. The lights gives the studio a good vibe.

Booking: My booking experience is super easy and I love their customer service. The company does a great job with helping you book sessions, rescheduling, or canceling sessions. Note - They do have a 48 hour rescheduling option. Read the cancellation policy before booking so that you are aware. Overall, I highly recommend Union Recording Studios and I'm glad that I am working with Connor. They have video and photography packages. The photographer and photographer is awesome. Phenomenal work.

Michael is a dope engineer and knows how get the vibe of the song right. He makes efficient use of the precious studio time and gets you a solid mix in the first session!

Short version: Eli is by far the best engineer I have worked with. You should see what I’m talking about for yourself before he gets too booked and/or raises his prices..

here’s why:

Long version: I have worked in several world renowned studios around the world, and from my experience I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to be a good engineer, what it’s like to run a session, let the artist control the vibe and think 2 steps ahead so the creativity can flow and be captured perfectly in any given moment. I will say that Eli is the first engineer who has been able to make me feel comfortable, confident and as ready as I have been to make my music. He sets up everything from his detailed template to the vocal booth with such meticulous attention to detail, that the final product of my sessions with him, the “demos” so to speak, sound better than some of my past “mixed and mastered” songs. Contrary to some engineers you may only work with once who may just be pressing “record” to get their hourly pay, Eli is professional and always has his clients’ best interest in mind when he works. You want to build a relationship with him.. he helps keep your music organized, sounding fluid and cohesive.

Regardless, to whoever is reading this, I hope you have an amazing next session with whoever you decide to book with.. I’m just saying, if you get the chance to request Eli, you won’t be sorry when you hear what he can do for your music.

** Side note tips for those wanting to book with Eli from a past and current client: He’s always down for tracking creatively.. don’t be afraid to go HAM in the vocal booth, he’s the best engineer when he’s working with an artist just being themselves, he can handle making sure it not clipping; you just do your thing. (Give him time to set levels tho and actually be as loud as you’re going to be when he’s doing that part ????)**

What I do for best sessions with Eli:

- warm up vocals on the way to the studio, sound good but don’t take the studio time for that bc I know Eli’s fast

- make sure I’m hydrated prior to session

-when tracking, have a solid concept of how I want the song to feel to the listener before going into the booth

- when creating, going with the intention to be creative and not held back by the fact that someone else is in the room.. he’s only going to put the best stuff in and I have control over those takes so trusting the process essentially.

- trust Eli. Like many, I’m working on getting better with my self confidence in my artistry. It’s easy to get lost in judging myself hypercritically. Sometimes it’s better for me to just ask Eli if he likes the take or not and move on. At this point, after working with him for so long, I trust his ears and you can too! Good luck and get that song done!

Eli is FANTASTIC! Recording or mixing, he’s always taken care to make sure we make the best music we can possibly make together - he’s a hell of an engineer and an essential part of the team!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Chris, the sound engineer when we 1st went to Mix that we keep coming back. The engineers can add to the flavor of your sound & theu try to be so good that you keep coming back to them. They know you have options so they work to be the best.

If you want a industry level mix & master, you gotta come see Chris. This man is serious about his craft & his creativity. Chris is so good at what he does that I feel disappointed recording at other studios with different engineers. Always makes a LA trip worth while.

Cesar is TOP TIER! Amazing producer in all fronts! He definitely has the experience and knowledge in producing and it shows in every step of the recording process. Alan is an awesome engineer! He's good with any genre all round literally, his set of skills are genuinely elite and has over 10 years of experience, I've been working with him for the past year and can honestly say he's the best engineer I've had.
