Dylan Kinker
ZOOM Recording Studio is a working production facility for vocals, podcasts, voiceover, ACX-compliant audiobook narration, and full music recording. Two rooms (ZOOM I non-smoking, ZOOM II 420-friendly), engineers ready when you arrive, on-site parking, 24/7 booking.
You don't need to bring an engineer. Our team handles tracking, editing, mixing, and ACX delivery. Practical, fast, and on budget for independent artists, voice actors, and podcasters.
What you get: Music recording (Neumann TLM 103, Universal Audio Apollo, Dynaudio LYD 8); voiceover and ADR (commercial VO, animation, e-learning, IVR, film/TV ADR); podcast production (Shure SM7B broadcast mics); ACX-compliant audiobook narration (44.1 kHz / 24-bit WAV delivery meeting Audible/Amazon specs); mixing and mastering.
Engineering tiers: Advanced Engineer from $30/hr for standard sessions: music, voiceover, podcast, audiobook. Elite Engineer from $40/hr for complex projects: long-form audiobooks, multi-character ADR, finished masters. Engineer rate is on top of studio rental rate.
Self-directed sessions: Voice actors with their own direction, podcasters running their own sessions, or producers bringing their own engineer can book ZOOM directly from $35/hr daytime, $13/hr overnight. 3-hour minimum on self-directed bookings.
DAWs supported: Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio. Stems and finished files delivered via secure transfer.
ZOOM Recording Studio offers two distinct rooms designed around different recording needs. ZOOM I is non-smoking, optimized for voiceover and podcast recording with a Shure SM7B at the ready. ZOOM II is 420-friendly with cannabis permitted in the room itself. Cigar smoking is available in our lounge. Both rooms run Universal Audio Apollo interfaces, Pro Tools-ready, and have on-site parking.
Audiobook narrators benefit from ACX compliance checks: noise floor verification, peak normalization, RMS leveling, and delivery in the standard 44.1 kHz / 24-bit WAV format that meets Audible/Amazon technical specifications. Sessions are bookable 24/7, which helps narrators managing tight publishing deadlines.
Book a session: call (323) 616-1990 or visit zoomrecordingstudio.com/booking/. Open 24/7. 539 S Rampart Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90057.
