ZOOM Recording Studio is a podcast studio in Los Angeles built for creators who want a finished episode the same day they record. We run engineered sessions in three formats: audio, audio plus video, and livestream with call-in guests through the ZOOM App. On-site parking, open 24/7, same-day booking at 539 S Rampart Blvd in the Westlake neighborhood.
Every session runs with a dedicated sound engineer. Mixing happens live while you record, so you leave with a ready-to-publish episode at the end of your booking. No waiting on post-production and no back-and-forth revisions.
Our 400 square foot soundproof studio seats up to four people plus the engineer, with four Shure SM7B microphones and an HD camera for video podcasts. Black, white, and green backdrops, LED lighting, and high-speed WiFi are set up and ready when you arrive.
The livestream format uses the ZOOM App to bring remote guests into the session over a video call, mixed in real time. Add intros, background music, and audio or visual effects during the recording. At the end you receive the final video file, WAV and MP3 audio, and the multitrack Pro Tools session in case you want to edit later.
ZOOM records branded company podcasts, independent shows, and interview formats. Sessions are billed by the hour with a two hour minimum, and daytime, overnight, and weekend slots are available around your schedule. Reach out and book a session at the podcast studio in Los Angeles.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE ENGINEER?
Mixing and mastering are already embedded in the process by a professional Sound Engineer. Some
mixing will be done on the fly while You are recording a Podcast. That will guarantee an
industry standard sound quality.
Our Engineer can also add any audio/visual effects right during Your recording. Our unique
technology allows us to give You a ready to go Episode right at the end of Your session.
However any post editing is not provided.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE IN THE STUDIO?
We have the ability to record up to 4 people. Studio capacity is also up to 4 people plus our Engineer.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
We encourage you to take a hard drive with You, so we can fast and correctly export Your ready to go Episode. You also can provide our Engineer with any external audio/video files that you want to integrate into Your Podcast Episode.
CAN I HAVE SOMEONE CALL IN USING ZOOM, SKYPE ETC?
Yes. Our sound mixer provides auxiliary inputs to accept cell phones, tablets and laptops connected to the streaming. Our Engineer can also play Your external files or YouTube videos through our computer and everything will be mixed during recording.
HOW DO I GET MY FILES?
Every Podcast Session is recorded and mixed in real time. Audio and video are captured simultaneously and the information is embedded in a video file. At the end of the session, you’ll receive a final video file (typically a .MP4 file) with your podcast recording, audio files (.WAV and .MP3) and a multitrack session in Pro Tools in case you’ll need further editing for post production.
HOW SOON WILL I GET MY FILES?
The best part is that you’ll get your ready Podcast Episode right after your session! No more waiting time and back and forth.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO OVER OUR TIME?
We make sure there is a 15 minute buffer before and after all podcasts, this helps our Engineers to set up everything for Your Podcast Sessions. If your session runs more than 15 minutes over, an additional 1 hour charge will be added to your session. However, if there is a podcast scheduled after you we will not be able to extend Your session.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE A SESSION?
In the event that a client needs to cancel or reschedule an already booked session, a minimum of 48 hours notice must be provided before the booked session. If at least 48 hours notice is not provided, the session booking’s online deposit is forfeited. For sessions scheduled within the 48-hour time frame, deposits are also forfeit. Clients that provided the required notice will be able to reschedule and transfer the deposit to a new booking or get a refund.
